1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your browser and remember certain information about your visit — such as your language preference or whether you have previously accepted a notice.
Cookies do not contain your name, financial details, or other sensitive personal information. They help us understand how visitors use our site so we can continue to improve the experience we offer.
2. How We Use Cookies
We use cookies on our website for the following purposes:
- Site functionality: Ensuring pages load correctly and forms work as expected.
- Usage understanding: Identifying which pages are visited most often and how visitors navigate between them.
- Preference memory: Remembering your choices, such as your cookie consent decision, so you are not repeatedly prompted.
- Relevant content: Where applicable, supporting the display of content that may be relevant to your interests.
3. Cookie Types We Use
We have organised the cookies on this site into four categories. You can review and adjust your preferences for each optional category in the Your Cookie Preferences section below.
Essential Cookies Always active
These cookies are necessary for the website to function. They cannot be switched off because the site would not operate properly without them. They include things like remembering your cookie choices and maintaining security during your visit.
Examples: Cookie consent record, session security token.
Duration: Typically session-based or up to 12 months.
Analytics Cookies Optional
These cookies help us understand how visitors find and use our site. The information collected is aggregated and does not identify individual visitors. We use it to see which pages are most helpful and where we can improve.
Examples: Google Analytics page-view tracking, session duration.
Duration: Up to 2 years for persistent analytics cookies.
Marketing Cookies Optional
These cookies may be set by advertising networks or social media platforms. They track whether you have seen an advertisement and help avoid the same content appearing repeatedly. Information may be shared with third parties for these purposes.
Examples: Ad network tracking, social media platform pixels.
Duration: Usually up to 90 days, though this varies by provider.
Preference Cookies Optional
These cookies remember choices you make to personalise your experience, such as your language or region. They make the site more convenient for you on return visits.
Examples: Language setting, regional display preference.
Duration: Typically up to 12 months.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on this site are placed by third-party services rather than by us directly. We do not control these cookies and they are subject to the respective third parties' privacy policies. Services that may place third-party cookies include:
- Google Analytics — for usage statistics (Google Privacy Policy)
- Google Maps — for our embedded map (Google Privacy Policy)
- Social media platforms — where sharing buttons or embeds are present
- Advertising networks — where marketing cookies are accepted
5. Cookie Duration
Cookies fall into two broad categories based on how long they remain on your device:
- Session cookies exist only for the duration of your browsing session and are removed when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period — ranging from a few days to two years — even after you close your browser. They activate again when you revisit our site.
We aim to use the shortest appropriate duration for each cookie. Your cookie consent record is stored as a persistent cookie so you are not repeatedly asked to make the same choice.
6. Managing Cookies in Your Browser
You can also control cookies directly through your browser settings. Below are quick guides for the most common browsers. Note that blocking all cookies may affect some website functionality.
- Open Chrome and select the three-dot menu in the top right.
- Go to Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
- Choose your preferred level — block third-party cookies, block all cookies, or allow all.
- To delete existing cookies, select See all cookies and site data and use the remove options.
- To allow or block cookies for this site only, visit our site, click the padlock icon in the address bar, and adjust per-site settings.
- Open Firefox and select the three-line menu in the top right.
- Go to Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Under Enhanced Tracking Protection, choose Standard, Strict, or Custom.
- To clear cookies, scroll to Cookies and Site Data and select Clear Data.
- For per-site exceptions, select Manage Exceptions and add this site's address.
- Open Safari and go to Safari → Preferences (Mac) or the Settings icon (iPhone/iPad).
- Select the Privacy tab.
- Tick Prevent cross-site tracking to block third-party cookies.
- To remove all cookies, select Manage Website Data → Remove All.
- On iPhone or iPad: go to Settings → Safari → Privacy & Security.
- Open Edge and select the three-dot menu in the top right.
- Go to Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data.
- Toggle Block third-party cookies on or off, or block all cookies.
- To delete cookies, select See all cookies and site data and remove as needed.
- Edge also offers a Tracking Prevention setting under Privacy, search, and services.
Most mobile browsers follow a similar path:
- Open the browser's Settings from the menu icon.
- Look for Privacy or Site Settings.
- Find Cookies and choose your preferred setting.
- On Android, Chrome follows the same steps as the desktop version above.
- On iPhone, Safari settings are in the iOS Settings app under Safari, not inside the browser itself.
7. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to decide which optional cookies you accept. You may update your choices at any time using the preference controls on this page. Withdrawing consent does not affect any processing that took place before you changed your settings.
Please be aware that disabling certain optional cookies may limit some features of the site, though all core content will remain accessible.

8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the cookies we use or for other legal, regulatory, or operational reasons. The most current version will always be available on this page. If you have previously given consent and we make a material change, we may ask for your consent again.
